Item: 12 1/4" plate created in the style of old English patterns. This red transfer ware plate has a scene of holy city in the background, ornate fence/gates and in the shadows of the gate, a young lady appears to be receiving a blessing from a man carrying a cross. The border is comprised of flowers and a rope pattern. Item is made from ironstone, so is heavy and sturdy.
Maker: Unusual Coat of Arms Rampant mark is that of Antiche Riproduzioni, a company that specialized in quality reproductions of popular antique English interior decor.
