  We love the green cast iron metal, and patina-ed tin on this Lorraine NY USA vintage crank grinder. This grater is a hand-operated kitchen utensil designed for grating small quantities of spices hard cheese, nuts, by using a small metal drum with holes that grate the food and a green wood handle for turning the drum. The food substance is inserted in the square metal part on top. The base has arms and a screw to secure to a table top. It is in working condition but has lots of wear, and in need of a good cleaning if using for food preparations.
  Measurements: 7 1/2" long (from metal base to top), 5" wide.
