I believe this handsome woodpecker, eyeing the lady bug on the tree trunk, was originally a night light (see the holes along the trunk?). Unfortunately the base has gone missing. A crafty person could easily come up with a base to house this Red-Headed bird. Measures 7 1/2" tall, 2 3/4" wide, 4 1/2" long. Marks are faintly pressed in the back, reads 5517/I, which is consistent with other German-made marks -- sorry, my camera was not cooperating to get a clearer picture.
Item is in good vintage condition -- no chips, nicks, repairs, breaks.
