Sometimes, you get lucky on finding something that is a perfect treasure, and simply AMAZING. This beautiful bowl, with purple flowers and gold detail is an incredible statement piece! Makes a lovely addition to a Prussian/German/Bavarian Porcelain collection. We filled it with fresh fruit for a recent brunch, and thought holding rice bags for a wedding would be a unique use.
This vintage item is in near perfect condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, and has been properly taken care of by former owners. The gold detail has minor wear along the rim. No chips, cracks, repairs, nicks, stains. Minor crazing in the glaze. Measures 14" long, 9 1/2" wide, 3" tall. Bottom mark of Franz Mehlem is stamped (before firing).
