With the creation of the Interstate system in the late 1950s, people started to travel more. One popular destination was Kentucky, known for blue grass, horses, and cardinals (the state bird).
This old souvenir plate is a great addition to a collection of vintage keepsake plates. Measures 7" and has a simple gold line outlining the plate.
Item is in overall good condition -- no chips, cracks, nicks. Faded gold edging, and faint rust marks from a metal plate holder. No maker or manufacture information available.
