  White porcelain plate, trimmed in gold. The center medallion is metal (Chokin), depicting 2 birds resting on a blossom-filled Cherry twig. Chokin plates are gilded with gold, silver, copper, and the engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the Samurai warriors.
  
  There are no chips, cracks, or scratches on the plate. No maker mark on the back. The numbered plate back contains a brief history of "Chokin," and "made in Japan." Plate measures 6 1/4" diameter.
