Plate 1 in the Lafayette Legacy Collection depicts The Marquis de Lafayette signs secretly his enlistment in the Army of the insurgents (Dec, 1776) in presence of Silas Deane, the American agent.
8 1/4" plate is made from porcelain of Limoges, France. Plate is numbered 272. The original "story of" brochure is included, as well as the COA. Will be shipped inside the original black styro container.
Item is in great vintage condition -- no chips, cracks, scratches, repairs, and would make a great addition to a souvenir plate collection.
