The original artwork appeared on the cover of "The American" magazine in 1918, and depicts a young courting couple, meeting on a Sunday afternoon. The young man is headed to college soon, and asked this pretty lady to be his girl. Blushing, she looks away from him as he awaits her answer.
Measures 8 1/2" diameter. No cracks, chips, nicks -- Item is in good vintage condition. The COA certificate and brochure on the artwork is included. Wonderful addition to your collectible cabinet plates, or hang in a grouping in your library.
